Spey Bay Golf Course, Moray, Scotland
Spey Bay, home course to former Prime Minister, Ramsay Macdonald, is a classic links layout in Moray, Scotland, and is one of the few remaining courses designed by the legendary Ben Sayers. The course plays over rows of shingle banks formed naturally along the coast over centuries, creating exciting undulations on fairways and greens. Golf Design Scotland has been commissioned to carry out restoration work and advise the client regarding improvements to course conditioning and future developments. Design work is already under way and restorations will commence towards the end of summer 2005.
